Solomon Boyer, born Oct 28, 1819 in Manchester, son of Peter and Sarah
(Hidelbaug) and grandson of Frederick (born 1756) and __ Shull. Solomon
Boyer in 1843 married Louisa Lenhart, born Dec 17,, 1820, d/o Henry and
Christne (Stouch) Lenhart.
Henry L. Neuman, of York, son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Lenhart) Neuman
natives of York County. Henry L., was born in Conewago township, Dec 9,
1839
Andrew Neuman, paternal grandfather, early settler of Conewago, while
the maternal grandfather, William Lenhart, resided near Dover.
Rev. James Ross Ramsay, retired minister, who served the Indian
Territory for many years
ICreek and Seminole), was born April 9, 1822, eldest son of Robert and
Jane (Whiteford) Ramsay.
Robert Ramsay, s/o John (emigrated from Ireland) and Margaret (McVey)
Cooper. They had a daughter, Elizabeth, who married Henry Armine, they
had 3 daughters, (1Margaret, who married William Ramsay and they had 5
children; Henry, Ida,Mary, Sarah, Anna. 2.Rachel married Edward Paden,
they had 8 children, among whom where two sons, Rev. William M. DD,
paster of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Salt Lake City, UT, and Rev. T.
Ross, paster of a church in Allegheny County. 3.Elizabeth).
Joshua Henry LA Mott Boyer, was born Nov 22, 1857, Carroll County, MD,
s/o John L. and Nancy (LaMott) Boyer.
Samuel S Boyer, his grandfather, was a son of Samuel Boyer, the founder
of the family, who came from Switzerland. The former married Sarah
LeFever,
William Henry Hibner, born on S. Queen street, Sept 23, 1854, son of
Frederick and Harriet (Hartman) Hibner.
Mr. Hibner's great-grandfather belonged to a prominet family of France
and came to America with LaFayette as an aide.
I. Henry Sentz married Lydia (Tyson), died in North Hopewell township.
II Benjamin Sentz, born Oct 14, 1850, worked for two years for Jacob
Diehl. He married to Henrietta Haney, d/o Squire Levi and and Sarah Ann
(Phillips) Haney.
Dr. Nathan C. Wallace, was born in Dover township. His paternal great-
grandfather, Adam Wallace (Dec 9, 1777-Nov 11, 1858) and his wife
Barbara (Godfrey), they were the parents of 7 children. Daniel Wallace,
1809-1879, married Mary Bentzel, 1807-1868, and the had children; Adam,
Catharine, Barbara, Samuel, Daniel, Mary, David, killed in the Civil war
Levi, who married Anna Becker, Caroline, Henry, 1835-1888 who married
Salome Huber, 1833-1881.
Henry and Salome (Huber) Wallace had children, Nathan C., Alice J. Moses
M., Lucy A., Howard H. and Emma S. The maternal grandparents of Dr.
Wallace were Moses Huber (July 13, 1791-Oct 9, 1860) and his wife
Elizabeth (Gross) Huber (June 7, 1808-Feb 3, 1834.
John Myers, was born March 26, 1803 in Adams County and came to York in
1850. He married Eleanor Hummer, who was born in York County, Feb. 5,
1810 and died Nov. 3, 1871. Both buried in Prospect Hill cemetery,
children-Julia who married _____Smyser, Harriet who marred __Mundord,
Matilda, married _____Spangler, and 2nd Sanford B. Gleason, Leah H.
Sarah Ellner, who married ___Brubaker, and Sarah Jane.
Capt. Solomon Myers, born March 14 1820 in Latimore township, Adams Co.,
s/o John and Eleanor (Hummer) Myres
On Dec 8, 1872 Capt Solomon, married Margaret A. Owig, d/o John and
Nancy Fiddler (Waltmyer) Owig
I. William Ehrhart, grandfather, married Nellie Runk, d/o John Runk
II Henry, married in 1848 to Julia A. Diehl, d/o Adam and Catharine
Diehl
III Daniel, married Feb.11,1872 to Martha Frey, d/o Samuel and Delia
Frey of York.
Andrew Zellers, born April 14, 1841, Stewartstown, s/o Levi and Lavina
(Luckey) Zeller. Bartholomew Zellers, grandfather, married Rose Ann
Miller, who after his death, married Jacob Daly.
Levi Zellers, was born 1817 in Stewarstown, married Lydia Ann, widow of
Amos Shaw. Children; Andrew, William, married Esther Jane Anderson,
Sarah Jane, unmarried, Mary who married Jesse P. Leib, Samuel S.,
married Anna Mary Duncan, and Louisa, who married William Carisle Smith
of NY
Andrew Zellers engaged in the carpenters trade with his brother - in -
law, Amos Shaw, and John Richard, John Falkner, James Gemmill and John
Fishel.
William Zellers, son of Levi and Lavina, was born June 3, 1843, he
married April 15, 1875 to Esther Anderson of E. Hopewell, d/o James and
Mary (Miller) Anderson.
George A. Hoffman, of Lancaster Co.,, was born Feb 17, 1868 in
Baltimore, MD, s/o William D., and Elizabeth (Armacost) Hoffman. He
married March, 1892 to Laura Hoover, of Baltimore County, MD, she died
Nov. 1893, leaving 1 child, Evna. His 2nd wife was Jennie Abel, d/o John
of York.
Aaron Heindel, was born in Shrewsbury township, York Co., he married
Mary Rohrbaugh, d/o John Z., and Eva (Hoover) Rohrbaugh. Their son, John
R., was born Jan 30, 1870, in Manheim township, married 1st to Henrietta
Fishel, d/o John L., and Maria (Taylor) Fishel, she died in 1891 leaving
one child, Annie. He married 2nd to Maggie Rohrbaugh, d/o Amos N., and
Sarah (Markel).``
Edwin C. Eichelberger, born 1852, Heidelberg township, York Co., married
Susan Strickhouse d/o Henry and Isabella (Zellers.
Benjamin Moore, was born May 29, 1851 in Chanceford township, s/o
Archibald H., and Annie (Campbell) Moore. He married Amanda Smith, d/o
Charles and Harriet (Hoover) Smith
Horace F. Greenawalt, was born in York Co, May 11, 1876, son of Henry
C., and Eleanor C. (Fishel)) d/o Charles Fishel.
John Allen Heany, born in Phila., in March 15, 1877, he was a professor
of mathematics and physics at Central high school at Phia.
Frederick Tyson, was born in Shrewsbury township, Dec 29, 1858, s/o
Henry Tyson. John Tyson, grandfather, a farmer of York County, children;
John of Indiana Jacob of Springfield townhip, ___ who married Adam
Diehl, __ who married John Storner and ___married Jesse Hildbrand.
