(Arndt Messinger Cemetery This ancient burial yard predates the existing church. It was laid out as a cemetery in 1776 on land donated by Jacob Arndt and Michael Messinger (1719-1791). The first burial here was the interment of Jacob Arndt's wife on January 31, 1776). Description taken from the "History of Forks Township".
