Welty, John, MD Line, soldier enlisted in the state of MD. He applied
Jan 1831 in Greene Co. TN., and he had living with him a wife Mary age
81 and his daughter Ruahamy aged 22 and her infant child, age 6 or
7months. In 1856 a Barbara Hauff of Greene Co referred to the soldier as
deceased and she stated she was one of his surviving children but she
did not give the names of the other children.

Weldy, George, VA Line, applied 1818 in Goochland Co. VA aged 63.
Soldier had a wife Nancy age about 60
