Frederick Jordan, the 1st of the family in this country was born in
1744, and died in Mt. Pleansant, (Jordan's Mill) Hunterdon Co., NJ, Aug
20, 1784. He was buried in the church yard of St. Thomas P.E. church,
Alexandria twp., Hunterdon Co., NJ (grave of wf to side_

Frederick Jordan married Catharine Eckel, born Dec 28, 1750 in Bucks Co,
d/o Henry of Hanau, Hesse, who came to PA in 1746. Children; John born
1770, Frederick born 1772, Mary M., 1776, Henry born 1781, Catharie
1784-84

Frederick s/o Frederick was born in Hunderdon, Aug 1772, died Feb 1,
1861 in Lehigh Co., PA. He married Apri 4, 1797 to Catharine Hartzel, of
Bucks Co., He married 2nd to Catharine Stettler, who was born Dec 12,
1777 and died Feb 18, 1847. Their children, John, 1799, Henry 1800,
Hannah Jan 15, 1805, married Charles Knass, Elisabeth married Samuel
Gross, Sarah married Thomas Snyder, Catharine married Joseph Krout,
James born 1814,

John Jordan, s/o Frederick and Catharine (Stettler) was born Oct 10,
1790 and died Dec 19, 1881. He married Mary Stahr who was born July 2,
1797, and died July 21, 1856

Catharine married Aaron Walker and removed West

Tillina, married Cyrus Christman, they had 3 sons and 3 daughters

Elimina, born Oct 25, 1830, married William Muir Nov 28, 1852, children;
Anne died 1857, Mary in Cleveland Ohio, Emma married A. V Diefenderfer;
Reb John Muir, William married Anna Wieder, Agnes married __ Smith,
Martha and Sallie married Charles Glick

John, eldest son of Frederick, the immigrant ancestor, married Elisabeth
Henry, and is the ancestor of Dr. John. W. Jordan. Henry, the youngest
son, had a son John, who never married, and a son Charles, who had an
only daughter.

Henry, s/o Frederick and Catharine (Stettler) born Oct 20, 1800 and died
Jan 29 1877. He married Ellen, d/o Frederick Stahr. She was born Aug 10,
1810, and died Dec 12, 1887. Children; William of Coopersburg, James of
Upper Milford, Franklin, Milton, Mary Ann, w/o Amandus Sieger, Kate, w/o
Lewis Sieger, Amanda w/o Charles Derr, of Indiana Co., Dr. Alexander
Jordan of Riegelsville, and Frederick of Vera Cruz

Rev. War, Henry, Cont. Line (PA) soldier enlisted at Easton, Northampton
Co, and he applied 7 Nov 1836 Mercer Co., PA 1836 aged about 74

John, wf Catharine Cont. Line (PA) soldier married Catharine Beale 21
Aug 1789 in Shenandoah Co., VA. Soldier lived in Phila Co., PA at
enlistment

Michael, NJ Line, applied 1818 in Phila aged 61. He enlisted at
Monmouth, NJ. In 1820 soldier stated he lived in a room he rented from
his son-in-law (not named) and he had only 1 daughter.

Robert, NY Line (NJ) soldier was born in 1750 Chester Co., PA and he
lived in Morriis Co., NJ at enlistment and after the Rev. he lived at
Carisle, PA near Chambersburg, PA in 1772 he moved to what is now
Indiana Co.

Thomas, wf Rebecca, PA Line, soldier married Rebecca Starbuck 10 Dec
1818 in Belmont Co., Ohio. Soldier was born 1747 in Wilmington, DE and
in 1772 or 73 he moved to PA (he was an orphan) he lived to Chester and
Lancaster Cos, and he lived at Chester Co., PA at enlistment

Thomas, PA Line soldier lived at Northumberland Co., PA at enlistment
and sve as a Capt and Paymaster. Soldier died in Hopwell, York Co

William, VA Line, soldier was born 20 Jan 1760 near Phila,, PA and at
the age of 13 he moved to VA
