1801. His father also named John was a farmer in Pikeland twp.

John Vanderslice married in 1825 to Elisabeth Custer, a native of
Evansburg, Montgomery Co, where she was born in 1805. Children; Lavina
C., w/o J.B. Morgan, Engelbert F. Addison S. Angie C., married Dr. Levi
Oberholtzer, Nehemiah, John A., Eliza, w/o Horace Lloyd.
Mrs. Vanderslice was baptized Oct 9, 1834 a member of the Baptist church
in Phoenixville

Vanderslice, Rebecca, - Pikeland, Jan 15, May 3, 1821 and Sept 11, 1821.
To son John all may housegood. To dau Hannah Raun all wearing apparel.
To son William $2.65. Also to son John my messuage or tenement in Trappe
Village in Montgomery Co
