Levan, Benjamin S. subject. John Le Van, the grandfather of the subject,
married Margareta Kahler, and had children, Daniel, John, Charles, Peter
and two daughters.

Daniel was borni in Berks Co and moved to Schuylkill Co. He married
Hetty Stout of Berks Co and they had, Lydia, Anna, Elizabeth, Hetty,
Sarah, Catharine, Isaac, Benjamin S. who was born Oct 26, 1806 in Berks
Co (Maiden Creek), moved to Kutztown and later to Phila for 5 years,
then to Lehigh Co for 28 years, then to Whitehall. Mr. Levan married
Maria, d/o Stephen Balliet Sr. Children; Albert, deceased, Stephen
deceased, Francis, deceased, Paul, James deceased, Garret and Susan, w/o
Charles Rader

Northampton Co
Levan, Daniel J. subject, Allen township, s/o Daniel and Eliza (Deily)
Levan, and was born April 2, 1862. His father was born in this township,
while his mother was born in Lehigh Co. The father died in 1884, the
mother died Feb 4, 1894.

Daniel J., married in 1881 to Mary Leh, who was born June 30, 1862, d/o
Abram and Sarah (Flick) Leh. no children mentioned

Levan, Walter A. (MD) of Slatington. He was born in Berks Co, May 13,
1867, s/o Daniel Levan, who was also a native of this county, and whose
death occurred Dec 24, 1891, age 68. His wife was Mary Wessner, also
born in Berks Co, and died in 1891.
