I am looking for info about my children's ancestors. The surnames
start with : ROSSI,BROSCIUS, HOAGLAND,RICCI,
SCHUCK,KIEFSKI,LOVETT,LAUX,PORTEN,BERWEILER,GILLESPIE,BONVICIN,CARNEY.
It seems as if several of these families came over on the same ship in
the mid-1800's. Some were already here, in Philadelphia. I have found
some articles in the Northumberland County pages. Most of my family
settled in Coaltownship and I still have relatives there. I was born at
Shamokin General Hospital in 1962. If anybody knows of a list of
ST.Edward's parishioners/cemetary/weddings/baptisms, please let me know.
