Hello from King of Prussia, PA! My name is Leo A. Dolan, new to the
list. My ggf was Peter Henderson DOLAN, and his brother was John DOLAN b ca
1825 IRL>Phila ca 1850. John married Margaret WOODS at
Pittston Ferry 23FEB1851. They lived in Mt. Carmel. John was a miner and
served with 133rd PA Volunteers in CW. When John died 13NOV1892,
Margaret lived for a while in Park Place, Schuykill Co. and then moved to
Phila. to live with her daughter Margaret and Son-in-law, Thomas CASTLES, 419
Salford St.

When Margaret DOLAN died in Oct 1907, John Dolan's remains were brought down
from St. Mary's Cemetery in Beaverdale, as well as an
Annie Hylan (or Hyland) b ca 1867 d June 1899. She apparently died
giving birth to a child. They are all buried together at St. Denis
RC cemetery in Havertown, PA with other Dolan relatives from the local
Phila. area.

Questions: 1. Where in Ireland were the DOLANS and WOODS born?

2. Where was Margaret Woods born, her mother and father
were Mary and Patrick..born Ireland.

3. Who was Annie Hylan(d) and did her child survive?

4. Who were the CASTLES?

5. Does anyone know the location of St. Mary's Cemetery
in Beaverdale? Where would the records for those
buried there be found today?
