PA) has done with an old county history, please see:

Wouldn't it be wonderful if those genealogists out there who own (or have
access to) Floyd or other records would transcribe portions and post them
on-line? Scanners are inexpensive now and would make quick work of
digitizing articles. I would certainly be willing to contribute, but I don't
have access to any records.

Any ideas on this?
