Hi Jo!

I do not have information on Jacob Yost.

Suggest that you check the following books at the library:

DAR Patriot Index, Centennial Edition, Part III, issued 1990.
I have the copies of page for spelling of Yost (no record of Jacob
Yost)
You could check for spelling of "Youst".

Pennsylvania Archives, 5th Series, Vol. VIII, edited by Thomas L.
Montgomery, 1906.

Northumberland County in the Revolution, by the Northumberland Co.,
Historical Soc.

The American Genealogical- Biographicaal Index, by editor Fremont Rider.
Note - I do not know the Vol. which covers surnames Yost/Youst.

Note - I used the above books, and found reference to my ancestors,
John Yost,
and Maj. Casper Yost, Sr. who served, from PA, during the
Rev.

Good luck,

Al Good - Cincinnati, OH
