Re. Paul:

In 1886, in Schuylkill Co., Henry F. Kutz assigned his two sons, Henry
Franklin and Edwin Ezra, to Jacob Ritzman as guardian, and disappeared from
the records. Part of this orphans court assignation was a small stipend left
by Jacob Paul, desceased, to his daughter Malinda Paul, deceased, who was the
wife of Henry Kutz. My aunt, 89 and still living recalled some mention of an
"Auntie" Ritzman in Shamokin. Henry Kutz and wife Malinda were listed on the
1880 census of Hegins twp., Schuylkill Co. with three sons, Henry, Edwin and
John. All indications tell me that Jacob Paul lived somewhere in the
Mahatonga area. Auntie Ritzman may have been nee Paul.

Thanks for the interest.

Ed Kutz
