Now I'm certain I have seen these names you mention.

People subscribe to this list for many reasons. I know of one person who unsubscribed because 'e did not live in the area anymore. If there is no list to the surrounding counties, I think it has been accepted that this list will accept you as a subscriber.

I saw the name Schuck on the 1920 census, and it said Chec. in the column on the right. I figured it was a name change.
