A couple days ago I found a SEAMAN family in New York about 1775 or
earlier. It turned up when I put Francis SALTUS into some of the
genealogy search engines. Those two surnames appear in the old Dutch
Reformed Church of New York, I think it was Garden St.

Good luck,

RE:[PANORTHU-L] Seamans in Northumberland Co.

Hi, All! I'm looking for anyone who can provide any information of the
SEAMAN family in
Northumberland Co. I had a grand-uncle, Frederick Seaman, who was born
20 Apr 1875
in West Perry Twp, Juniata Co., PA and moved sometime before the turn of
the century to
Northumberland, PA to work in the PRR shops/yard there. So far as I
know he had no
children and I never knew his wife or her name. Nor do I know his date
of death. In fact,
I guess you could say that I know almost nothing - so why am I asking?
:O)

If anyone out there is working on the SEAMAN family, or knows anything
that would help
me, I would be most grateful to hear from you/them.

Don Seaman in Newport, PA
