Surname: Baker
-------------------------

My Gr-Grandfather is Jonathan Baker. He was born January 1845, location
unknown. He shows up with his mother in the Pennsylvania 1850 census in
Jackson Twp. His mother's name is Barbara (b abt 1805), but I don not have
a maiden name for her. I do not know his father's name. His father does
not show up in the 1850 census, at least not with his wife and children.
By 1870 the family has moved to Luzerne county. Jonathan's siblings are
Isaac (b abt 1842), Caroline (b abt 1840), Elizabeth (b abt 1838), and
Harriet (b May 1836). There is a John Baker listed in the 1840 census for
Jackson Twp. And a WILL is listed for a John Baker for 1847, which would
fit for his lack of presence in 1850.

Any information that might be available is appreciated.

Bill
