I looked in the same neighborhood in the PA 1920 Census.
Enumeration Dist. 101, enumerated on January 7, 1920
They are living at 231 South Hickory Street.

Jacob Hinkle, Age: 40, Coal Miner, Head, b. PA, Parents b. PA
Wm, son, 11, b. PA
Dorothy, daughter, 10, b. PA
Alice, 3, daughter b. PA

For Jacob, it looks like he is widowed, hard to read,
but that column looks like 'Wd'. Seems that Bessie died
around 1916-1919 or so soemtime after birth of Alice.
