Over in Juniata Co. at St. Peters United Church of Christ, Monroe Twp.
there is a Ella Carl buried, wife of Charles E. Carl; born Oct. 04, 1875,
died Oct. 1894. These dates are based on the tombstones as best as I could
of read them three years ago. Also buried there are a William Carl; born
Sept. 14, 1832, died March 12, 1901. His wife Mary Dockey Carl; born June
1834, died Sept. 18, 1901. William and Mary were from Norththumberland Co.
before the Civil War and later settled in Juniata Co. afterwards. William
Carl served with the Union forces during the war, 172 Reg. Co. K.
