yes marie, it may be worth the trip.
plenty of records from the time periods
you are looking for.

marriage, some birth/death records,
wills, deeds, naturalizations.

i spent about a 1/2 dat their,
and really on scratched the surface.

if you do go, make sure
you have all your info with you
almost search thru records with a checklist
so you dont miss anyhting you want to look for.

good luck...
i am heading there in sept for a reunion
and some more research.

and..dont pass up a few hours at
the northumberland county historical soc.
a mile up the road from the courthouse
