Death

RICE--In Saville township, on the 25th ult., at the
residence of her son-in-law Daniel Lyons, Mrs. Mary
Rice, relict of the late William Rice, of Tuscarora
township, aged 69 years, 9 months and 24 days.

Mother Rice had come to visit her children, but was
with them only a few hours, when she was suddenly
stricken down with apoplexy, and died without speaking
a word afterwards. Thus we have another illustration
of the saying, "In the midst of life, we are in death."
