Susan:
Sorry, I should have indicated the dates and relationships.
John Liddick & Susan were the parents of my great-grandmother, Effie, born 12/1868. Effie married my great-grandfather, William Shell(e)y [born 2/1862] son of Joseph & Margaret Shell(e)y. I do not know where William was born but believe I found him living with a Hugh Carlin family in Watts Twp in 1870 (at least he is the right age). His parents could have died while he was a youngster. On 1880 census I found a William Shelley, 18, living with Jacob Seiders(?) family - again, the right age - in Watts twp. William Shelley was first married to an Ida Stephens (Stevens) who died c. 1888 and he remarried Effie. All indications are that William Shelley lived most of his life and died in/near Perry County. Again, any information you can supply will be greatly appreciated.
God bless!
