In what way is the Archives not the easiest place to work with?

I've only been to the Archives twice, once at the old building and once
at the new one at 30th St. I found the gentleman archivist who works
there extremely helpful, and also the woman who was working the day I
visited the older building. But at the 30th Street building there was a
girl who worked at reception desk who had a serious attitude problem.
She let me stand at the desk while completely ignoring me. She was not
on the phone and had nothing urgent to do because when I walked away
from the desk and tried to find the information myself, she got on the
phone and called the archivist to come out and help me. During my
entire visit, which was short because I had to get to work, she had a
chip on her shoulder, and stood around talking to her friend. She was
not friendly at all.
