Subject: [PAPHILA] recipes opinion

Only my opinion. I would prefer to see recipes and such posted on other
genealogy site boards, not this one. Those are more community and family
story oriented. There are such boards. One of them sends me a news letter,
and the next time it comes in I will post the address.
I've seen more than that one, perhaps posters would list their favorite
'ancestral community" urls.
It's just the sort of "background" "homey" which many of us are seeking to
give ourselves a feel for the times and places in which our ancestors lived.
And they were mostly *hard* circumstances. As you sit at your computers,
think about what you would give up first, then last, of our contemporary
lives. As a woman, I am everlastingly grateful to my hardy female
ancestors, who somehow managed to live to a ripe old age in spite of the
unrelenting hard work and childbirth dangers they faced and overcame.
Now I'm off my soapbox, you can all relax.
