Jan,

I think the best way for you to find out what is offered by each company
is to go to their website and investigate. It changes daily, with new
material coming online, new CDs being produced and "specials" being
offered. Here are the URLs:

http://ancestry.com [owns Ancestry, RootsWeb and MyFamily]
http://genealogy.com [now owned by A&E]
http://heritagequest.com [now owned by The Gale Group]

They all sell memberships and products and the first two have data
online. HeritageQuest also has a rental program.
