The answer is yes -- with a qualification (see below). You'll see from this excerpt
from the Philadelphia land records of 1734 on AMITY TOWNSHIP that my Henry Gibson
is listed along with a Jonah Yocum.

Mordicay Lincoln..........500
Peter Robinson............500
Marcus Huling.............200
Anthony Sedusky...........300
Jonah Yocom...............200
Andrew Ringbery............50
Peter Jones...............200
Andrew Jones..............220
Henry Gibson..............200

I see, however, from the maps of Amity landowners in 1725 and 1750 (in P.
Pendleton's _Oley Valey Heritage_ ) that John and Jonas Yocum's land (whose southern
end borders the Shuyilkill and which has the King's Manatawny Road cutting through
[and in the 1750 maps was in Douglas Township and bordered Philadelphia county]) is
not **next** to Henry Gibson's land, but is several estates to the east of it.

In any case, our families were indeed neighbors.

Yours,

Jeffrey
