Just wanted everyone to know... I mailed requests for my grandparents
birth certificates on March 18, 2002. The Philadelphia City Archives
received them on March 27, 2002. Today (April 5) I received return
letters back with my checks and the letter says" Dear Patron, Please
be advised that we are currently experiencing a three-month backlog. We
are requesting that you resubmit your request after June 30, 2002."

I wanted to let others know so they wouldn't take the time sending
requests now! I was so hoping to receive the birth certificates!
