Saturday 1st June: 10 AM until Noon.
Research your African-American Heritage with Fannie Moore
Murray, local Genealogist and Lecturer. We will cover resources
available in the Philadelphia area, including the LDS family history center,
and the recently published Freedman's Bank Records on CD.


Saturday 8th June: Noon to 2 PM.
Discover the Genealogical Resources and Government Documents available at the
Free Library of Philadelphia, with Walt Stock of FLP. Walter D. Stock has
just recently retired as Head of the Education, Philosophy and Religion
Department at the Free Library of Philadelphia. He is a Certified
Genealogical Record Specialist.


Saturday 15th June: 10 AM until Noon.
Research Your Italian Ancestors with Eric Umile, Psy.D. Eric has been
pursuing his Italian roots for 20 years, tracing his paternal line directly
back to ca. 1540. A clinical neuropsychologist by trade, he is also a
professional genealogist known as "The Past Finder". He devotes his free time
to compiling family histories and lecturing on Italian genealogy.


Saturday 22nd June: 10 AM until Noon.
How to Use the Resources available through the LDS Library, with Sandy
Wonder, LDS Church member and Computer systems teacher. Sandy will discuss
the use of Ancestral File, the International Genealogical Index (IGI) and the
ins and outs of searching the Family History Library Catalog.


Saturday 29th June: 10 AM until Noon.
Irish Genealogical Research, for beginners, with Anita Sheahan Coraluzzi,
family genealogist. We'll discuss the major, and some lesser known, record
sources available here and in Ireland, using Irish resources on the internet,
and how to prepare for a visit to your ancestor's homeland.


All classes will have a registration fee of $5, to cover costs of materials
and beverages. Class size is limited, so please register early.

the name of the class & date in which you are interested. Make check for $5
