Hi,

I am at a blockage in my research. I have been looking for a record of
Angelo Agnello for some time now. Here is the info. that I have for him:

Born between 1913-1915 (I think 1914)
Parents names unknown
Married Laura daderio abt. 1933 (no record found in Elkton, MD) (underage to
marry in philly)
Had 2 children Edward and George (George 1933, Edward 1939)
On Edwards birth cert. (1939) Angelo's name is listed, he is listed as being
25, and his home address is listed as 1725 N. 8th Street in Phila, PA. He is
also listed as being a salesman. I am told by family that he was a shady
guy. Laura left him, they divorced, and he died in the early 40's. One
story is that he was stabbed, another that he just died of natural causes.
His son barely remembers him.

I have sent for a one year search for birth record and got someone else's
(Vincenzo Agnello).
I have been to the library and checked the 1935 city directory (no agnello's
listed)
I have checked a 1930's phone directory (no agnello's)
I have gone to the archives and looked at the census for 1930 and I had no
luck finding him or any agnello's there either.
Laura was only 16 when they married so I tried sending for a marriage cert.
in Elkton, Md and they found nothing.
The only angelo agnello's in the SSDI don't match. (I checked them)
Laura died August 21, 1971. I found her obit but it doesn't mention him and
she is not listed in the SSDI either.

I don't know what else to do. This is my husband's grandfather and it is
really important to me that I find some info. If anyone would like to take
pity on me with advice or lookups, I would really appreciate it. I don't
know what my next step should be and I really can't afford a professional.
