Perhaps it was Assumption B.V.M. (Blessed Virgin Mary), established in
1848 and closed in 1995. Formerly located at 1131 Spring Garden St., its
spiritual records are kept at St. John the Evangelist (21 S. 13th St.,
Phila., PA 19107; phone 215-563-4145; fax 215-563-1770).
