Hi everyone,
I found this RITTER/RUTTER family in the 1880 census. Because of a
Bishop being in this family, I can only assume that they are related to the
same Bishop that is in another family group that is somehow definitely
related to my branch. I'm basically trying to make the connection here. The
families are as follows...

John RITTER - age 43 - house carpenter (maybe a brother of Joseph and Bishop
listed above)?
Margaret - age 39
John - age 22
Richard - age 15
Callender - age 14
Jeremiah - age 9
Charles - age 7
Michael - age 3
Bishop - age 1


Now...Callender married a Prudence NAPIER and they had a son George
who was 6 months old when the census was taken June 30th, 1870.
George married a Francis Elizabeth SINK. Francis had a sister
Georgeanna and their father was Christopher SINK.
Georgeanna married William H. RITTER who was George's cousin.
William's address was 1741 Otsego Street according to their New Jersey
marriage return when they married in November of 1889.

  Profession: welder Address: h 1741 Otsego

It was the same address as my gg grandparents George and Emma RITTER/RUTTER.

Ritter George W.
  Profession: plumber Address: h 1741 Otsego


Otsego Street was changed to Water Street in 1900. The same address
for my gg grandparents is listed on all census images where the home address
was given, so I'm positive that is the same family.
