I have a xerox copy of a birth/baptismal record from St.Michaels & Zion
Lutheran church which does not show the father's or mother's birthplace.
It is a record of baptisms between 1762 and 1784 so the data might have
been enlarged by 1896. I wrote the archives of the church and, for a
fee, they sent the copy to me.

Does any one know if the original baptism records from this church would

tell where the father of the child was born? Time frame 1896. I have a
typed copy of the record taken from records of G.E.L. St. Michaels and
Zion at Philadelphia that was issued in 1941 from the custodian of Old
Zion Lutheran church of Phila, address 228 N. Franklin St. This gives
child's name, parents name, including mother's maiden name, child's
birth date, baptism date and sponsors names. What I desperately need is
the German town of birth of father.
Hope some one can help, thanks.
Gloria from Florida
