I wanted to add that in addition to my father's family being related to
cigar makers, I heard stories from both my father and his brother about how
they would go to Connecticut, to another relative's farm in Broadbrook,
Conn. and bring home tobacco for making into cigars at this cigar company,
probably in Royersford. My mother, who is now deceased, said that
Royersford was also a place where the mostly German people of Philadelphia
would go on weekends for recreational purposes (picnics, swimming, etc.)
