Hi everyone,

My friend, Michele in Cincinnati, and I in Florida, are looking for Susan
Agnes (FISHER) MINERS. She was married to Samuel Harvey MINERS, and they were
living in the Shenandoah area of Schuylkill County in 1920. After Harvey died
in 1922, Agnes, who was childless, broke up her home and shared time with her
sister-in-law, Jennie, in Shenandoah and her sister, Mary, in Philadelphia.
Both she and Mary were listed in the 1930 Census as living in Philadelphia,
both being widows.

My mother has told me that Susan lived in a nursing home on either South 12th
or 13th street as late as 1950 or 1951. Mom went to a dentist in that area,
at that time and said she got off the train at the Reading Terminal, and took
the trolley car to her dentist. She doesn't remember which street it was,
just that it was on the southbound street, and that the home was on the left.

We are hoping someone may be aware of that nursing home, whether or not it is
still there, is it possible to get any information from them, etc. Also, is
there an obituary index for Philadelphia at that time? We hope to get a
death certificate so we can find the disposition of the remains.

Thank you all so much,

Bob Reifsneider
