Have you tried searching the census? His occupation will be shown on the
census and will included the denomination.

1895 in Frankfort, George J Burns. In the 1890 city directory he is Name:

In 1912 the minister is Miles S Read . He doesn't show up in the 1890
directory.
I only have ancess to the 1890 directory thru Ancestry.com
