This is what I ran into.............. misspellings of last name, wrong date,
year but the best was REBURIEL DATE

Yes, reburial date. You have no idea how I looked for gt grandfather but it
was an City Dir' that made me sit up in my chair.

My brother found the family plot at New Cathedral Cemetery got dates from
the caretaker and I found everyone but one. My gt grandfather, Michael Foley who
died in 1902

I looked and looked in newspapers for a listing in 1902 I did everything
there was to do to find obit

What happened was I came across his wife, Susan being a widow in 1893 now
I'm really confused but not for long.

I looked in 1892-93 for death and found Michael Foley who died May 9, 1892
but he was buried first at St Peters cemetery in Port Richmond, Almond and
Tioga Sts. and relocated to New Cath Cemetery in 1902. New Cath Cemetery records
the year he was buried and that's were 1902 comes in. Even if the person died
in 1892 as far as the cemetery knows the year is 1902 they only give burial
dates and that was the burial date 1902. They only work with burial dates
not death dates.

Hope this is some help to someone, Jackie
