I am from Collingswood.Does anyone remember the LaRitz bakery in our
town?They had wonderful cheese sticks.
The Delaware Valley was[and still is]noted for their grand bakeries.
My mother was reared in Tacony,and always talked of the George Washington
cakes baked in Philly.
Food is as much a part of "fleshing out" our ancestors as finding their
deeds,birth and death certificates as far as I am concerned.
