Did anyone else see the message saying that Ancestry.com would be available
to all for the Fourth? I saw it, but only once. Most of the lists to whom
I belong are not coming thru and I wondered if perhaps the message was
appearing on those lists.

Hi, Betty Lynne-
Ancestry has been running a 3 day free special access to the 1930 census as
a means of announcing the completion of the census project and this offer
expires tomorrow--so in that sense it would be free for today should you wish to
take advantage of the offer.
You may be thinking of another free offer though: The Origins Network
(www.originsnetwork.com) is offering free access to British and Irish Origins on
the 4th July to celebrate US Independence Day. Free access will begin at
00.00GMT and will run until 08.00GMT on the 5th July 2006. In order to access it
go to

and click on the link to sign up or login.
