Subject: The CASSIDY/ENGLEHARDT family in Shahola

In 1872 MICHAEL CASSIDY (my ggfather)and his only son, CHRISTOPHER (my
gfather), emigrated from County Meath, Ireland, through Philadelphia,
settling in Shahola. CHRISTOPHER later met and married MARY ELIZABETH
ENGLEHARDT (my gmother) there. They had several children, and later
moved to Kingston, NY; then to Bridgeport, CT, where they are buried.

MARY ELIZABETH had a sister, KATE ENGLEHARDT, and two brothers, JACOB
and JOHN ENGLEHARDT whom I remember. I'm hoping that some one can give
me the dates of their deaths and places of burial. Family lore has it
that there was some kind of connection with a SMALLEY family in Shahola,
but I can't confirm this.

MICHAEL CASSIDY, on the other hand, CHRISTOPHER'S father, doesn't seem
to have left any footprints. Either he died in Shahola or later, in
Kingston. If he died in Shahola, when ? And where is he buried ?
Is there anybody on the List who may have information ? I can be
reached either through the List or directly. My e-mail address is:
. Thanks.
