Some of these parallels can be frustrating and worse, can throw you off your
research track. I have a John Parks of NC/TN, who I've pasted in below, who
parallels your John Parks to some extent. I've encountered a worse one for
mine, with a son paralleling my James. They were probably all related, but
it would be nice to figure out how.
