I would like to thank the two Barbaras who helped me out with the Parrys, and apologise for the delay in replying. I have the families coming together now (and also the Brimbles) and find a lot of blacksmiths in them-both in Mangotsfield and Bristol. Ihave yet to find a Master blacksmith though that any of them could have served under during the first part of the 1800s. I am fairly new to family history and cannot find how to look for the City Burgesses. I found Barbara Parry's comments really interesting and would like to find out more. Thank you, Sheilah
