Okay here I am again...I will also take advantage of the Parsons roll-call
For those of you that have access to Kith and Kin of Boone County, West
Virginia; Volume VIII page 3. you will find a Henry Kinder married to an
Agnes Parsons, born 1818, died 24 Nov. 1885, daughter of John and Frances
Parsons. Issue: 13 Children. That is one Parsons I am try to find. In the
1850 Boone county census she is only listed by Agnes Kinder 37 years old,
no parents listed. In the 1860 Boone county census she is listed as Ary ?
Kinder 45 years old, Dau. John & Frances Parsons. In the 1870 Boone county
census she is listed as Aretta C. Kinder 55 years old, D. John & Frances
Parsons. In the 1880 Boone county census she is listed as Ara 65 years
old, D. John & Frances Parsons. I then went to the microfilm and found my
Great Grandfather, Craigs, death record of 9/12/43. His wife, and my great
Grandmother reported that his mothers name was Eva Pierce. GO FIGURE!!!
As far as the latter, she was Craigs second wife. But they were married
eight months before Henry died and seven months before his mother died.
Does any one have a record of an Agnes, Ary, Aretta C, or Ara Parsons born
about 1818, daughter of John and Frances Parsons? I was in the Wood county
(Parkersburg) library and went page-by-page through a book on the Parsons
family and found no reference to her or her parents. It is not that I haven
t looked...I am having zero luck.
I have read everyone of the messages fro the pass three days trying to find
my great gandmaw... Please look through you records to see if you might put
me, I meant, help me out of my misery.
Regards,
Jim Mc
