The Budds and Fagans immigrated from Ireland in the early 1840s to Cass
Township. One of the Budd brothers -- John -- migrated on to California and
was never heard from again. The other 2 -- Richard and William -- along with
the Fagan siblings and their spouses (Patrick, Catherine, Bridget, Sarah
(William's wife), and Ann) moved to Willamstown in Dauphin County after the
CW. From there, thier descendants that didn't remain in Williamstown and the
vicinity migrated to the Philadelphia area and New Jersey. A few went to the
Midwest but most of us are still here in Pennsylvania.
