I have 2 old pictures in my possession that I am trying to date. On the back of one is "A.M. Allen, photographer, S.W. cor. Market & Centre Sts., Pottsville, PA" Another picture says "Lamont & Mack, 111 N. Centre St., Pottsville, PA". Can anyone tell me how I might find out the approximate year these pictures were taken by associating the photographer's name & address with a city directory/phone book or other means? I thought if I could date these pictures it would help me to determine WHO are in the pictures. Thank you for any help you might give.
