Hello Jean,
My great-grandmother was Maria Minarik, who married my g-grandfather, Andrew Kotch (Tkac). Their daughter, Marie (my grandmother), married Andrew Matta in Mahanoy City. They later moved to Schoentown. I remember my dad, when I was a kid, telling me that the next door neighbor, Mary Minarik, was a cousin to my grandmother. It looks as if we have a connection!
