I find several John Williams in the various census records but without the wife's name cannot select one. Do you have that information? I had some trouble finding my Lewis Williams, too, but discovered they had moved into a different county for a time. (Luzerne which is close to Schuylkill). Miners moved about to follow their work. My Lewis was born in 1816. He and John could have been brothers or cousins, who knows?

I am looking for date of death for John Williams, who was born about 1820 in Wales, was listed with wife and children in the 1860 census then disappeared by 1870. What church records might be available for Welsh in that area in the 1870s? Any other sources to check? He is my gr-gr-gr-grandfather and I am trying to find out where in Wales my family came from
