I might be able to furnish some helpful clues for you. I have ARNOLD information, not personally verified, which was given to me by an apparently reliable researcher and I'm willing to share if you wish.

I have a second great-uncle, Oliver Burns Sulouff, married in 1883 to Amelia S. 'Mellie" Arnold. Reportedly, Mellie Arnold was born 1863 in Chapman Twp., Snyder Co. to parents Joseph 'Puff' Arnold, b. 1824 in Susquehanna Twp., Berks Co., and wife Mary Ann Fisher.

Reportedly, my Joseph 'Puff' Arnold had a brother also born in Susquehanna Twp., Berks Co., named Peter P. Arnold b. 8/29/1822 who married Mary Ann Shaffer born in Chapman Twp., Snyder Co.

Reportedly these Arnold brothers, Joseph and Peter, were sons of Caspar Arnold, Jr. (1787-1859) and Mary Ann Puff, whose locations were not provided to me but I surmise they lived in Berks Co. PA.

If you are interested, I will be happy to provide more particulars and the sources cited by my informant.
