I know this will go out to the whole list but that may be good. Have you
checked church records? I checked your web page and found that your John
lived in Dimock Township in 1860. Include this type of information in
your inquiry and you may find cousins in this area and on the list who
have done this research. I have the address for the Springville
Methodist circuit. There are many Presbyterian and Baptist churches that
have closed in this area. Some of thier records are at the Susquehenna
Historical Society.
Do you know the denomination of your ancestors?
