Re: Henry Button and Deluizon (not sure of spelling) Button
They are in the same household in the 1850 census for Susquehanna Co., PA.
Also, in the IGI at the Family History Library, IGI Batch #7704607 shows
father/son relationship; source listed as Vital Records, Albany, NY. I have
not yet checked the accuracy...but it could be a start. Most of my Button
family information came from the Nye book.

>Perhaps 'Button Families of America' by R. Glen Nye could be of interest
to you. I know that Marquis Fernando Button, born 27 June 1841 in
Springville Twp, who married Eliza L. Strickland, daughter of Edward and
Mary (Knight) Strickland, is referenced on pg 141.
I can also tell you that the families of Philander Strickland, John
Strickland, Samuel Sutton, Warren Lathrop, Elisha Strickland, Marcus
Button and Delizon Button (Marcus's father) are consecutively listed on
one page of the 1870 Census. Be wary of any indexing for this page -- I
have a note, "not (pg 576)", but do not recall it's significance.
Sorry I can't help specifically with Henry. Should you find that he is
related to Delizon, I would appreciate hearing back.
Delizon is my best interpretation of the name -- appreciative of
corrections and additions.
Thank you,
Bill Strickland
