Lorin, I hope you can find some answers too. I am researching Emma
Patterson who probably wasn't born until the late 1850's. However, she
married John Schooley Beeson (b. 1857) who was the grandson of Henry
Beeson, founder of Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA in 1776. I am convinced
that Emma's family was from the Uniontown area as well and probably moved
west to OH with Henry Beeson and his wife, Mary (Martin) in the early
1800's. If your research definately places your family in the Uniontown
area, perhaps we can work together on this line.
