I am seeking information on ancestors (have descendant info) for Thomas
PATTERSON, married about 1795 to Elizabeth FINDLEY, dau. of William FINDLEY
1740/41 - 1821 of Westmoreland County, PA (member of legislature, involved in
Whiskey Rebellion).

Father of William Patterson, m. to Mary Lyle, April 29, 1819. Children:
Lysander, Mary, James, Robert F., Aaron Lyle, Caroline, William, Margaret,
Thomas A., Samuel F., born 1820-1842. Caroline PATTERSON m. William M. LEE,
1850.

In addition, I have still-to-be transcribed letter from Mary Lyle Patterson
to daughter Caroline, and a letter from Caroline to either husband William
Patterson or brother William Lee (can't tell); please indicate if these would
be of interest. [Some mailing lists prefer strict genealogy dates & names;
others like collateral info.]
