Hey Alan & Sharyl, Can I get in this game, too? I recently learned about
John + Margaret from a Phyllis Peterson -- she has them on a website. I'm
thinking that my James W. Patterson, born in Washington Co., PA, came to
Morgan Co., married Clarissa ROSS, had a bunch of kids and schlepped over to
Muskingum Co., may also be a son of John + Margaret.
John, William, James are all very close together on the 1840 Bloom Twp.,
Morgan Co., census.
Phillis Peterson shows a James M. as a son of John + Margaret, who lived in
the vicinity of McConnelsville, Blue Rock, Zanesville, had a son John R. who
has a son E.A.
My James W had a son, John R. who had a son either Everett Burton or
Everett A.
And we all know how messed-up middle initials can get!
Has anyone gotten any documents such as probate, will, land deeds or
anything regarding John + Margaret? I sure would like to see proof of James
W.'s parents.
