Are we cousins? My great grandfather is Robert (Robert McCready
Patterson). I am working very hard to identify the parents of William
Patterson. I have a nice history of the McCreadys. William is buried
beside Robert (1749-1829) and Elizabeth Patterson in St. John's
Graveyard, Brooke County, WV (actually near Eldersville and Pattersons
Mills PA). Robert should be his grandfather but I can't link William to
any of Robert's children!

I'm trying to determine where William and Nancy were married and hoping
their marriage certificate or a newspaper article may mention William's
parents.

I grew up on the farm that William and Nancy purchased. I am leaning
toward William's father being named David. But there is no record.
